Sashiko Cloth TE-GUMI - featuring a MATOI (纏/まとい), a traditional 3-D flag used to show the location of a fire, or used to represent a fire fighting company during parades. The one has the hiragana て (te).
This is a pre-printed piece of navy blue cotton fabric, very handy for learning sashiko. Photo is from the manufacturer's website.
Finished size: 12" x 12" (30 cm x 30 cm). The fabric is folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.
You can stitch through both layers for a traditional fukin (towel) or one layer and make a little pillow.
Sampler is FABRIC ONLY. Sashiko needles, thread, and thimbles available separately in our shop.
