Kogin or Koginzashi (こぎん刺し) is a counted stitch from Northern Japan. Kogin is done only on the warp (horizontal part of the fabric) and produces beautiful geometric designs.
This kit includes supplies to make a kogin decorated pin cushion.
Finished size of wood bowl pin cushion: 6.5cm diameter x 5cm tall (2.5" diameter x 2" tall).
INCLUDED in this kit: mustard yellow linen fabric, variegated blue/gray kogin thread, needle, batting, and wooden bowl.
