Olympus - Hana-zashi Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - Navy

This is a pre-printed piece of Navy Blue 100% cotton fabric with a design of "Hana-zashi", like layers of flower petals. Made in Japan.
Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this kit with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.
The fabric measures 13" x 13" (33 cm x 33 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out. Sashiko needles, thread and thimbles are also available in our shop.
This type of kit is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel. You can complete this kit with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.
