Beautiful panel from Japan on indigo/navy blue colored 100% cotton fabric.
Why buy an old calendar? Because it's great for making coasters, quilt blocks, appliquéing onto clothes... all the things! The manufacturer offers these to us at a discount once they are past their prime, and we love to reuse them.
Each of the 12 blocks features a traditional motif such as Japanese flowers blooming in season, koi, rabbits, temari, and more. Subtle gold details make it extra special.
