This is a pre-printed piece of White 100% cotton cloth with a pattern of Yamanami (Mountain Range), very handy for learning sashiko stitching. It's in the Hitome-zashi (one-stitch) style.
The first photo shows the design in this listing. Other photos show actual samplers and fabric, but different designs.
Instructions are in Japanese and English.
The fabric measures approximately 13" x 13" (34 cm x 34 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.
This sampler requires TWO 40m skeins of sashiko thread to complete OR use one 100m skein of sashiko thread.
Sampler is FABRIC ONLY. Sashiko needles, thread and thimbles available separately in our shop.
