- Binding-Type Bodkin: For fairly wide elastic band. Release the ring and bind elastic band. Tighten by moving the ring towards the indicated direction.
- Head-Type Bodkin: For fairly fine elastic string. Tie the elastic string to the ring part of the bodkin.
