CLASS: Structured Sashiko (Saturday, April 18th, 2026)
Limited seating available at KimonoMomo Studio for an intermediate sashiko class with Carol.
In this class, you'll build upon and master the basics of sashiko with solid structure to give your designs more balance. Stitch straight lines and curves with more confidence. Make your designs fit in unusual spaces, such as on garments (sleeves, collars, etc.). Get a feel for using colors and how they accent different aspects of your work. Sashiko can be so much more than white on blue!
Skill level: Intermediate - this class is for sewists already familiar with sashiko, as it will not cover how to begin a project. Please join us for our Intro to Sashiko classes if you are starting sashiko for the first time!
The supplies kit is included in the ticket price; please bring your own scissors.
Class will be from 10am to 3pm at our warehouse and studio, located at:
1035 22nd Ave, Suite 15, Oakland, CA 94606
If you use a GPS/Google maps, please use our neighbor, Carrie Dove Catering, as your destination to ensure you are not directed to the wrong side of our building. Please bring a snack; we do not have many options for food nearby.
