Olympus - Usagi (Bunny Rabbit) Cotton Sashiko Sampler Cloth - Black

This is a pre-printed piece of black cotton with a pattern of snow rabbits (usagi) and squares, very handy for learning sashiko stitching. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese style of quilting that is often used for decoration.
Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow. You can complete this cloth sampler with one skein of sashiko thread, but may choose to use more than one color for added contrast.
The fabric measures 12" x 12" (31 cm x 31 cm) folded in half and is printed with dye that will wash out.
This type of cloth is called a "fukin" (pronounced foo-keen), or little hand towel.
