4-ply cotton thread. Thinner than most sashiko thread brands from Japan. Can easily be doubled. Super soft!
Hard to find outside of Japan, this thread is hand-dyed in small batches in the famous Aizenkobo dye shop of Kyoto Japan 刺し子糸.
Colors shown (18, 19, 20) are new for 2021 and are dyed with onion skin, yew bark, and Brazil bark.
