Kogin is a traditional form of counted stitch embroidery from northern Japan. Thick cotton thread and broad-woven fabrics are best for kogin, and this kit from Olympus is handy for practice.
Kit includes two pieces of cotton Congress cloth for coasters, fabric for backing, thread in different colors, and a kogin sewing needle.
Completed coasters measure 9.5cm x 9.5cm (3.75" x 3.75") each.
