CLASS: Mending Sampler with Van Tran (Sunday, Sept. 28)

Join us on Sunday, September 28 from 12 - 3pm for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn essential stitches and techniques to bring new life to your worn and beloved garments with Van Tran.

We’ll cover how to stabilize stress areas, reinforce tears, and patch holes with colorful threads and fabrics through several basic stitches and mending techniques. You’ll leave with a personalized mending sampler, a solid introduction to textile materials and mending tools, and plenty of inspiration for future repairs. Feel free to bring a garment or two—we’ll take time to troubleshoot repair projects together.

Cost: $60 - includes kit (kit: Garden Party embroidery pack, embroidery needle, pieces of cotton/linen canvas, and a mending resource guide)
Van will also have communal scissors, sewing tools and a fabric scrap bin to share.
