It involves mending everyday household items and clothing by patching it with cloth and reinforcing it with a running stitch. Over time it would create an overlapping mosaic of fibers, usually in differing shades of indigo, and today has become more of a fashion statement than a necessity.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eStudents will get to work closely with Mickey to create their own vision of patched together pieces with access to different needles, a wide range of colored threads, and our extensive selection of fabrics. No previous hand sewing knowledge is required and all student levels are welcome.
