Books in Rainbow
Mid- to late-20th century silk with woven texture and bright colors. Book designs are dyed in a Bingata-style, but mostly likely from Tokyo or Kyoto, not Okinawa.
Soft with a beautiful drape and pleasant touch. This would make a gorgeous scarf. Background color is a very pale green, but looks almost cream or ivory.
Sold by the meter, cut as continuous length. Each meter measures:
15" x 39.5" / 38.5cm x 100cm
Bolt width is 15". Two meters = 15" x 79"
